The single best decision I made in the course of planning my wedding was having Alicia Menendez as the day-of coordinator. This one decision contributed more to my own enjoyment of my wedding than anything else (other than the getting married to the love of my life part, that is). It took less than five minutes on the telephone with Alicia for me to know that I would be in good hands with her on my wedding day. Without my prompting she assured me that she was well-organized, smart and had the common sense to know that when it gets warm in a room, someone needs to turn on a fan. Alicia is exactly the kind of personable, top-notch trouble-shooter I wanted to have as my day-of coordinator. Despite the best attempts at a perfect plan, there were problems that needed to be addressed on my wedding day. But I never had to worry. When I got an email from the shuttle bus company at 4 am on the day of my wedding, informing me of a problem with one of the shuttles, I simply forwarded the message to Alicia, knowing that she would work out the solution. Having Alicia and her colleague, Kelly, on hand to answer questions and to keep people informed of where they needed to be and how they were to get there, kept me in a stress-free zone. Alicia and Kelly are real pros at what they do and a true pleasure to work with. My friends and family loved meeting them! In planning a wedding, there are people who add stress to the process and there are those alleviate stress. I feel very fortunate to have found two wonderful stress alleviators to work with in Alicia and Kelly. I could not have been happier with their services.
