At last weekend’s wedding we had the opportunity to work with Jud McCrehin.  Jud is a professional photojournalist and just looking at his website, you can tell that each of his photos captures a story.  Jud was a real pleasure to work with – very accomodating and easy going.  And Jud had the good sense to take some “post-ceremony” shots pre-ceremony (it ended up raining after the ceremony).  To boot, Jud’s rates are incredibly reasonable.  Check out his website at www.mccrehin.com.

If your family and friends are like anyone else’s family and friends, they might not always be on time.  Sure, the majority will understand how important it is to actually get to the ceremony before you walk down the aisle and into the reception before your first dance but there is always a handful who are just five minutes behind.  If this isn’t a big deal to you – great!  But if you want to be the last one to walk into your ceremony, consider fudging times. If you actually need a shuttle to leave from your hotel to your ceremony at 12:45pm consider telling guests to be there for 12:40pm.  No one will complain about waiting for a few extra minutes, and you’ll have a greater likelihood of keeping the trains running on time!

Hey there – thanks for stopping by.  We’re just getting up and running but check back often for updates.  And if you’re looking for a dc wedding coordinator or a dc event coordinator (a team of two at that!) feel free to email us at eastcapitolevents@gmail.com.

All the best,

K&A
